K&F Concept Filters

I bought the K&F Concept 100mm square pro filter set some 3 years ago and have been using it very often, the kit comprises of 3-6-10 stop ND filters + a circular polarizer round filter, also the filter holder itself which attaches to the lens via an adapter, it comes with a 67, 72, 77, 82 diameter adapter rings

The link to the filters are here

I have found no colour cast with these filters at all, and the build quality of the filter holder is superb, the only criticism I would have is the plastic surround that goes around the glass its a bit flimsy, but other than that I am extremely pleased with them, I also bought the Graduated filter separately, I have since bought the magnetic set 72mm to go with my OM1 system Link Here

Northumberland and The Isle of Skye October 2020

We never made it to Spain this October due to Covid 19, we chose instead to go to Northumberland and The Isle of Skye.

We were a bit apprehensive as the weather can be awful in October in the north of the UK, we had bought all weather proof trousers and 3 umbrellas just in case, but we needn’t have worried as the weather was fantastic in fact so good we stayed two extra days on the Isle of Skye

Cobbolds Point Felixstowe

Cobbolds Point Felixstowe Suffolk UK, is a very interesting area of Felixstowe, there are two main sea defences going in opposite directions, Its a really great place to take long exposures (LE) in any weather condition, be it bright sunlight or a really moody black sky, I have found the best time of day to go is when there is approx 20-30cm of the tops of the defences showing either side of the tide, don’t forget it can be very dangerous and slippery on the rocks especially if they are wet

This Photo shows the left hand side sea defence, its about 150 meters from the one on the right, at high tide you can not walk from one to another.
